Rick Ankiel was eligible to come off the disabled list today but it now appears he won't be activated until the weekend. Ankiel continues to rehab a bruised shoulder and labia after he crashed into the outfield wall.
Meanwhile, Chris Carpenter will be activated from the DL tonight and will start against the Cubs. He should be returning to the DL in a couple of days.
