Roger Clemens = Geneticist

Roger Clemens appeared on "Mike & Mike in the Morning" yesterday to, get this, deny that he ever used performance enhancing drugs. I know, I didn't see that one coming either.

What was the reason he gave for not using PED's? Genetics.

"Let me just add to it, common sense. Our family has a history of heart conditions," Clemens said. "My brother had a heart attack in his late 40s. My stepdad died of a heart attack. I mean, it would be suicidal to even think about taking any of these dangerous drugs."

His stepdad? How does that work? If my mom ever remarries, I hope she marries somebody with blue eyes. I always wanted to have blue eyes.

He misremembered...it was his real dad that had a heart attack.

Joe Torre says Clemens = Cartman:

"I think when he speaks -- and maybe that's why he played so well for so long -- is that fact that he basically believes what he says," Torre told hosts Mike Tirico and Scott Van Pelt.
